Long or vertical
The long format keeps notes flat and lines up several rows of card slots. The vertical format is narrower, shows the cards in front of you and slips into an inside jacket pocket. One of them is cut from cowhide lined with nylon, another from genuine leather, and one from faux leather in coffee, plum or black.
Looking after the zipper
A zipper lasts when it is not forced: an overfilled wallet strains the teeth. A colourless cream twice a year is enough for leather; faux leather wipes clean with a damp cloth. For coins kept apart in a shorter format, see the men's wallet with coin pocket range, and for contactless blocking, the men's RFID wallet range.
Frequently asked questions
Is a zip around wallet thicker?
Slightly: the zipper adds a few millimetres around the edge. In exchange, nothing falls out when you open it.
What if the zipper sticks?
Rub the teeth with a pencil lead or a little wax, then run the slider back and forth a few times.
Does a long wallet fit a trouser pocket?
It is better carried in a jacket pocket or a bag. A shorter or vertical format suits a front pocket.
