Mens crossbody bag: the strap matters more than the design

This section gathers 48 models. What you notice when wearing one is not the material or the colour, it is the strap. A narrow strap concentrates the whole weight on one point of the shoulder and starts to dig in after twenty minutes. A wide, padded, adjustable strap spreads that same load and is forgotten.

Check the maximum length as well. A bag meant to sit on the hip and one meant to cross the chest do not adjust the same way, and a strap that is too short cannot be lengthened later.

Materials

Full grain leather: gains a patina, can be repaired, improves with use. Dislikes prolonged damp.
Synthetic leather: copes better with rain and holds its look. Not a second choice, a different one.
Nylon and canvas: most resistant to heavy use and easiest to clean.

A point that almost never appears on a product page: the strap anchor points. That is where crossbody bags give way, not in the fabric. A riveted metal ring holds; a plain seam onto the lining does not.
