Leather Card Holder for Men

A leather card holder for men is chosen on two questions: how many cards it must hold, and how you take them out. This selection only gathers card holders whose listing states genuine leather, cowhide, Crazy Horse, sheepskin or split leather, checked one by one. Models in PU leather, carbon or aluminium stay in our men's leather wallet range.

Slots, pop up case or wallet: three ways to take a card out

A slot card holder is the flattest: the leather closes over the cards and stays thin when lightly loaded. A pop up case, often aluminium, pushes the cards out in steps when you press a lever; it protects the cards from bending but keeps the same thickness, empty or full. The pop up wallet wraps the case in leather for a few notes, sometimes with a coin pocket. For the most compact formats in every material, see our small wallet for men range.

Cowhide, Crazy Horse, sheepskin or split leather

Smooth cowhide keeps its shape and darkens slowly where it is handled. Crazy Horse is cowhide fed with oils and waxes: it lightens on the folds and marks when rubbed, and every trace turns into patina. Sheepskin is the thinnest and softest, which allows a card holder of 18 g. Split leather is the lower layer of the hide, with a velvety touch. For a full wallet in genuine leather, see our real leather wallets for men.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards does a leather card holder for men hold?

A leather card holder for men in this selection holds two to ten cards depending on the model: two or three for the sheepskin model, five or six for the magnetic pop up case, six to ten for the full grain RFID model.

Does a leather card holder protect against contactless skimming?

A leather card holder without a metal case does not block contactless reading; only the models with a metal case or a stated RFID layer limit it, without independent certification; they are grouped in our RFID card holder range.

Does Crazy Horse leather change over time?

Crazy Horse leather lightens on the folds and darkens with use, which is the normal behaviour of a cowhide fed with oils and waxes.

Should I choose a card holder or a small wallet?

A card holder keeps the cards of the day and a few folded notes, while a small wallet often adds a coin pocket; our cowhide pop up and Crazy Horse pop up models combine both.
