Laptop backpack: measure before you look

This section gathers 80 models built to carry a computer on your back. The first question is not colour, it is size. A 15.6 inch machine will not go into a compartment made for 14, and one that is too roomy lets the machine move around, which is the surest way to catch a corner.

Measure your laptop closed, width and height, before looking at any photo. The diagonal the maker advertises is not enough: two 15.6 inch machines can have very different bezels.
