This men’s leather bag takes the form of a briefcase in full thickness cowhide, lined with canvas. It takes A4 folders flat, the criterion that separates a real work bag from a slightly large city bag.
Full thickness cowhide
It keeps the full density of the hide and is not split, the process that produces leather splits. That is what lets it hold its shape without an inner frame, and age by developing a patina instead of flaking.
Format and rigidity
A structured briefcase protects paper and equipment from creasing and crushing. In return it is less forgiving than a soft bag: what does not fit will not fit, and forcing it distorts the corner seams.

Leather care
A conditioning milk two or three times a year, applied in a thin layer, left to soak in and then buffed with a soft cloth. Pay attention to the corners and folds, the only places where leather this thick eventually gives way.
