The bag is very nice and the outer texture is rich. There are two zipped pockets on the front, one zipped pocket on the back, and the inside is divided into two compartments: a main compartment and one for your laptop (with a Velcro strap to hold it in place, and another zipped pocket). The shoulder strap is adjustable and clips onto the bag with unusual clasps. (See my close-up photo; it's not a standard snap hook because it opens in the middle and not on the side.) The laptop compartment is lightly padded. There's enough room for a laptop in a sleeve, which I strongly recommend. I understand what the other reviewer meant by the noisy, papery fabric! The bag is lined with a very stiff, thin, rustling fabric that makes a lot of noise when touched. I can definitely live with that, but it might bother some people. The zips all work well and the handles are comfortable. Overall, it's a nice bag! :)
