Celle-ci est tressée, ce qui donne au cuir sa tenue sans ajouter de renfort rigide, et elle garde une ligne fine une fois chargée du strict nécessaire.
Pochette en cuir ou pochette en toile ?
Le cuir se patine, se nourrit et se répare, et sur un objet qu’on tient à la main c’est visible tous les jours. La toile enduite résiste mieux à la pluie et se lave, mais elle marque aux angles et ne vieillit pas, elle s’use. Pour une pochette portée en main, le cuir reste le seul qui gagne en caractère avec le temps.

Ce que le tressage change vraiment
Un cuir tressé encaisse mieux les frottements qu’un cuir lisse, parce que les rayures se perdent dans le relief au lieu de traverser une surface unie. C’est l’avantage concret, et il compte sur une pochette qu’on pose et qu’on reprend dix fois par jour. La contrepartie est l’entretien : le lait nourrissant s’applique dans le sens des brins, sinon il blanchit dans les creux.
Mon avis
Je ne conseille pas cette pochette à quelqu’un qui veut y ranger un passeport et un carnet : le format plat impose de choisir ce qu’on emporte, et c’est précisément son intérêt. Si vous cherchez du volume, prenez une sacoche bandoulière. En revanche, pour tenir cartes, téléphone et clés sans déformer une poche de veste, c’est le format le plus honnête, et le tressage lui donne dix ans d’allure au lieu de trois.

After payment has been approved, orders can no longer be cancelled or changed; you may return your item in line with the Sacoche Monsieur online returns policy.
Once placed, orders for made-to-order or personalised items cannot be cancelled or changed. The sale of these items is final and they cannot be returned.
Returns and exchanges are possible within 30 days of the delivery date, by sending your items back via carrier to the address that will be given by email; that address must appear on the return label. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.
