This vintage leather messenger bag feels like an old reporter’s satchel: a flap that falls over the front, two brass magnets that close it quietly, and a distressed cowhide that makes no attempt to look new. It is the compact, upright format you keep on you all day.
A magnetic flap that closes without thinking
Drop the flap and the two brass magnets do the rest: no buckle to adjust, no clasp to aim for. Under the flap, the main compartment closes with a zip, so the contents stay put even when the bag swings on your hip. On top of the flap, a zip pocket takes keys or cards you want to grab without opening everything.
Crazy horse cowhide that shows the passing of time
The leather is crazy horse cowhide according to the maker: an oiled leather that lightens slightly where scratched, then darkens under the hand. Contrast stitching outlines the edges and ages with it. After a few months, the bag takes on a patina of its own.
An upright 24 x 27 x 8 cm format
Taller than it is wide, it stays slim against the body and weighs about 750 g. Several inner pockets hold a phone, a wallet, keys and a small notebook without everything mixing. A zip pocket on the back adds flat storage for a train ticket or papers. The leather strap adjusts with a brass buckle.
