Where the protection really comes from
Position first. A bag worn across your chest stays in your line of sight, which a backpack never does. That is why this collection is mostly chest and crossbody bags: the lock or the hidden zip comes second, as backup. Four features, and when each one matters
- Combination lock: the zip pullers lock together. The strongest deterrent, and the least convenient if you open the bag all day.
- Hidden zip: the opening sits on the body side or under a flap, invisible from outside. Enough for most city commutes.
