This cowhide leather key pouch sits next to a men’s wallet and holds a small bunch of keys in a rounded case closed by a metal zipper. It measures about 10 x 5.5 cm (3.9 x 2.2 in): it fits a jacket or trouser pocket, or clips by its carabiner to a belt or a bag.
A metal zipper
The zipper runs along the side and follows the rounded bottom of the pouch. The keys slip inside, you close it in one move, and they no longer wander at the bottom of a bag or a pocket. Closed, the pouch keeps the edges of the keys away from the phone screen and the lining of a jacket. The zipper teeth are silver-tone metal, like the carabiner.
A metal carabiner to clip it on
At the top of the pouch, a metal carabiner, linked by a metal ring, clips onto a belt loop, a satchel strap or the ring of a backpack. The pouch stays within reach instead of getting lost at the bottom of a bag, and it comes off with one hand at the door.
