Description
This leather key holder in split cowhide sits next to a men’s wallet and keeps up to six keys lined up on their hooks under a snap flap. Folded, it measures about 10 x 6.8 cm (3.9 x 2.7 in): it fits a jacket or trouser pocket, or clips by its carabiner to a belt or a bag.
Six hooks under a flap
Inside, six metal hooks hold one key each. You no longer hunt for the right key at the bottom of a pocket: you open the flap, the six keys are lined up, and you unhook the one you need without undoing the bunch. On the left side, a small pocket and a ring take a badge or an access card. Closed, the case protects the phone screen and the pocket lining from the edges of the keys.
A metal carabiner to clip it on
At the top of the case, a metal carabiner clips onto a belt loop, a satchel strap or the ring of a backpack. The case hangs within reach instead of getting lost at the bottom of a bag, and it comes off with one hand at the door.
Split cowhide, thin and soft
The case is made of genuine cowhide of the split type: split leather comes from the lower layer of the hide, thinner than the surface layer. It is therefore thin and soft, it folds easily over the keys, and it marks with use like any leather. The outer face has an even grain, with no pattern or lettering. Five colors are offered: black, coffee, brown, yellow and wine red.
