A leather shoulder bag for men made to sit across the chest rather than on the shoulder, which keeps it in front of you and leaves both hands free. Cowhide with a cotton lining ages far better than a technical nylon chest bag.
Leather worn high raises a question nylon does not: weight. Six hundred grams empty for 31 x 16 x 8 cm is twice a textile equivalent, but the material holds its shape and the wide soft strap does not cut into the shoulder. Cotton absorbs body moisture where polyester pushes it back towards the contents.
