Description
A men’s wallet in waxed cowhide. It is a real hide, and two things prove it: the cut edge is fibrous rather than clean, and the surface darkens where your hand passes most. The wax reacts to friction, lightening under pressure then darkening again, which gives the marbled look some people look for and others find uneven. That is the material behaving, not a defect. A real hide softens, records marks and can be reworked by a craftsman, but it dislikes standing water and direct heat.
