What RFID blocking actually changes
Your bank cards, your biometric passport and your work badge all transmit contactlessly. A metal foil sewn into the lining cuts that transmission while the clutch is closed. You change nothing about your habits, you store your cards as before, and they simply stop being readable from a distance.
