Belt bag, fanny pack, waist bag, sling: is there a difference?
They are the same object under four names, and the name you use mostly says when you started buying them. Fanny pack is the older American term and still implies the bag sits at the front of the waist. Belt bag is the current retail term and implies you might wear it across the chest instead. Waist bag is what most manufacturers print on the label, including on the models we stock. Sling is a separate thing: a sling has a wider single strap and sits higher, closer to a chest bag.
The reason it matters when shopping: search for fanny pack and you get the small front-of-waist shape. Search for belt bag and you get the larger crossbody-capable shape. Our 14 models are the second kind, which is why every one of them has a strap that extends past 100 cm.

Why this range is small on purpose
Fourteen models is not an oversight. A belt bag is a simple object: a shell, a zip, a strap, a buckle. Once you have covered four price points and four wear positions, additional models differ only in printed pattern. Stocking sixty of them would give a longer page and no more choice. What follows is the comparison that a longer page usually hides.

Read that table as a use case question rather than a quality question. A 29.90 EUR belt bag used for festivals and gym runs is the right purchase. The same bag strapped to a motorcycle tank for a commuting season is not.
Fitting a belt bag over a jacket
The measurement that decides whether a belt bag works for you is not the waist size, it is the strap length at full extension against your chest measurement over the thickest coat you own. Every model here extends past 100 cm, which covers up to roughly a 46 in chest worn crossbody over a winter jacket. Under a jacket, at the waist, all 14 models fit any waist we have been asked about.

Three things buyers ask us
How much does a belt bag actually hold? The models here run from roughly 1.5 to 4 litres. Practically: the 29.90 EUR bags take a phone, a wallet, keys and a charging cable with nothing left over. The 49.17 EUR band adds a compact water bottle or a paperback. The 108.33 EUR waterproof model is the only one in the range that swallows a small camera body.
Does it stay put when running? At the waist, yes, on any of the 14 models, provided you tighten the strap after loading rather than before. Worn crossbody it will migrate unless the strap is wide, which is why the sport styled models from 49.17 EUR up are the ones to pick for that.
Is the waterproof model genuinely waterproof or just water resistant? The TIGERNU at 108.33 EUR uses a laminated shell and a sealed zip, so it keeps contents dry in sustained rain. Every other model in the range is water repellent, meaning a shower is fine and a downpour is not. We describe them separately because the difference is the whole reason for the price gap.
