Description
This canvas tote bag for men takes a laptop up to 17 inches, a size most shoulder bags refuse. It combines the capacity of a briefcase with the simplicity of a tote, with two handles and a wide opening.
The 17 inch constraint is real
Past 15.6 inches most bags stop following. A 17 inch machine is roughly 40 cm wide, which demands a bag whose base reaches that figure. Always check the stated width, not the diagonal, before ordering.
Canvas rather than leather
At equal volume canvas weighs noticeably less and fears neither rain nor abrasion. On a bag already carrying two or three kilos of electronics, that lower empty weight shows within the first hour of commuting.
Specifications
- Hard wearing canvas
- Fits laptops up to 17 inches
- Twin carrying handles
- Inner document pockets
- Open briefcase format
Protecting the machine
A tote has no padded compartment. A slim sleeve is enough to avoid direct contact with keys or a charger, and it is the only accessory this format really needs.
Frequently asked questions
Does a 17 inch really fit?
Yes. Check your machine’s width, around 40 cm, rather than its diagonal.
Is the laptop protected?
Not by dedicated padding. A slim sleeve is advised.
Does canvas handle rain?
It takes a shower and dries fast. An open format stays sensitive to prolonged rain.
Can it be worn on the shoulder?
Yes, the handles are sized for shoulder carry.
