What fails first on a small bag
Almost never the fabric. It is the zip, and specifically the corner where the slider changes direction. What a small crossbody will not do
It will not carry a water bottle upright, it will not take a 10 in tablet outside the top band, and it will not stay flat if you put a hardback book in it. Buyers who return one of these bags almost always wanted the next size up and were sold on the look. If your daily carry includes a bottle or a paperback, the honest advice is to skip this range and look at a full size crossbody instead, even though this page is where the search sent you.
